What I Have Learned in Empowerment Technologies…,

Hi Good Day!

My name is Adriano Lagaran, a senior high school student in Santa Monica Institute, Inc. I want to share what I’ve learned in my subject which is Empowerment Technologies.

First we tackled about:

I’ve learned the topic about:

• Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)

“Web 2.0: Dynamic Web Pages”

Where the web 2.0 is the evolution of Web 1.0 by adding dynamic web pages. The user is able to see a website differently than others

“Web 3.0 and the Semantic Web”

The Semantic Web is a movement led by the World Wide Web Consortion (W3C). The W3C standard encourage web developers to include semantic content in their web pages.

This is the Web 3.0 is yet to be fully realized because of several problems:

• Compatibility
• Security
• Vastness
• Vagueness
• Logic

“Trends in ICT”

As the world of ICT continues to grow, the industry has focused on several innovation. These trends are the current front runners in the innovation of ICT.

It includes the different mobile devices use in operating system such as:

4. Assistive Media.

I’ve learned about “Word Microsoft”  about the Mail Merging. There are Two Components first the Form Document, second the List of Data File.

I learned about the different kinds of Picture

I’ve learned about how insert ClipArt, Shapes, SmartArt,Charts, and screenshot. These are the Kinds of Material that i’ve learn in Word Microsoft.

In the next topic I learned about the Microsoft Excel. In the past topic, we learned about how to create a product information by doing it on Microsoft Excel. I, in myself I’ve learned about the different Formula on how to get the profit, the daily, weekly, yearly income. By exploring the Microsoft Excel, i have learned on how to compute my grade electronically using Microsoft Excel.

We tackled about the Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation. I’ve learned about how to embed other file by inserting it on your presentation by inserting an Object and choose the Create New or Create from File and it will automatically inserted there and you can edit it easily without going or launching to other application. I learned how Hyperlinks work in my presentation by placing Existing File or Web Page, Place in This Document, Create a New Documents, email address. The Hyperlinks Helps you how your presentation work easily. Finally, I learn about the Creating an Effective Presentation, how will you minimize your presentation, The Clarity of your presentation, The simplicity, Your Visual, Consistency,and Contrast. That is the 6 tips for creating a Effective Presentation.

These are the things that I’ve learned in Empowerment Technologies. ICT is beneficial to us because it can give us more knowledge about the technologies in our surroundings.
In my experience in this subject it is so fun, lot of enjoyment because of the exploration what I did. I explore the parts of the excel and powerpoint presentation, with the help of this subject I’m doing it easily. That is why I want to give my deepest gratitude to Mr. Jayson Kien Bernales, our computer teacher.
